The Band regrets to announce the passing of Arthur Murray.
Art was a charter member of the Emerald Society and the Band, taking up the bagpipes at the age of 70. He was appointed to the DCFD in 1955 and retired a Lieutenant in 1979. Art celebrated his 90th birthday in March.
He still regularly attended Band practices and events.
Everyone will miss Art's never-ending supply of stories.
