The Band is heartbroken with the news out of Baltimore City. We send our thoughts and prayers to the Baltimore City Fire Department and all of the families and friends affected by this tragedy. It has affected all of us.
We hope they Rest In Peace.

Rest In Peace Jim Embrey

2/7/2022

The Band had the honor of piping home Emerald Society Life Member James "Jimmy" Embrey.  Jimmy was appointed to Truck 6 on 5-14-72 and retired as a Lieutenant from Truck 9 on 12-30-2000. Jimmy was a long time Truck Driver at Truck 6 and was considered one of the Department's top "subject matter experts" on the fine art of truck work. Jimmy was also one of the foremost experts on the history and apparatus of the DCFD, devoting countless hours to working with the Department and the FFA Museum to document and preserve our heritage.
Rest In Peace Jimmy!
